The IRC 16 is an electronic
measuring instrument using an incremental optical rule for
measuring and storing the lengths of aluminum and PVC glazing
beads elements. The range of measurement runs from 145 to
1600mm. (2200mm. with the extension). It is fitted with a
back-lit LCD display and membrane keypad. The RS232C serial
connection with the remote unit can be effected either by cable
or IrDA infrared interface. The unit is powered by rechargeable
batteries with the option of connection to an external battery
charger; the charge state is shown on the display. 500 lengths
and 99 correction values can be memorized, either in millimeters
or inches. The machine switches itself off automatically after 5
minutes of inactivity. Precision +/-0.1mm.
